Prabhakar Aloka was born in 1960. He grew up in various towns in Bihar before eventually moving to Delhi for his post-graduation in Physics. In 1986, Aloka joined the Indian Police Service, and was allotted Andhra Pradesh cadre. After a brief stint in the state, he joined Intelligence Bureau, the country’s premier intelligence agency with over 125 years of history. In nearly three decades of service in the Bureau, where he was rigorously trained in covert operations while in pursuit of hostile elements, Aloka served in counter-terror, counter-insurgency and anti-Naxalite theatres. He now lives in Gurgaon, and draws from his extensive experience when writing fiction. C3: In Relentless Pursuit is his first novel.
